CTA's legislative leadership team is in the midst of the 2014 Legislative Session. We have a proactive agenda on topics ranging from telecom reform, Internet Protocol unregulation, STEM education and workforce development, for starters. Follow our public policy initiatives online here or on the CTA mobile app (search Colorado Technology in your app store). CTA staff will also be posting regular legislative updates on the CTA blog for members to view through the password-protected portal.

CTA will be traveling to Washington D.C. to represent our industry at the annual
DC Fly-In along with approximately 30 other technology councils on February 11-12. Current federal targets include immigration reform, patent trolling, data breach and notification, and startup innovation credit.

Colorado Community Profile

Paul Skach of Oracle has been a strong community partner with CTA for many years. Paul's leadership as a title sponsor of this year's C-Level event and his volunteerism on the celebrity selection committee is helping us broaden our reach across the C-suite. Look for some new faces on March 6th as a result of his efforts!

"I’ve had the pleasure of being actively engaged with CTA in a variety of capacities over the last seven years and can’t say enough good things about the organization. CTA has given me the opportunity to develop great relationships with many business leaders from across the state. I enjoy networking with like-minded individuals and look forward to seeing everyone at this year’s C-Level event.”
- Paul Skach, Oracle Hardware Sales Representative
