Industry Collaboration Office (ICO) Updates
We invite you to learn about and support House Bill 13-1001
, "The Advanced Industries Accelerator Act." Sponsored by Representatives Young and Gerou and Senators Heath and Steadman that, if passed, will provide much needed funding to advanced industries that collaborate across industries in the areas of proof of concept, R&D and infrastructure.
CTA will have Industry Collaboration Briefings the first Wednesday of each month, to update and engage interested members and leaders. The Feb. 6 briefing has been relocated to the History Colorado Center (see above) to accomodate more seating. Register for Feb. 6

The ICO is a public-private collaboration with the Governor's Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) and The Office of Information Technology (OIT) to align with the Governor's Blueprint Road Map of initiatives. The goal of the ICO is to elevate the global competitiveness of Colorado's IT industries by leveraging CTA's community leaders that want to drive initiatives to advance the technology industry in areas such as economic development, education, innovation and access to capital.
KidsTek Annual Tech Leaders Dinner is Feb 20
KidsTek provides after-school computer programs and technology certification-earning programs for K-12 Colorado students. Join them for an entertaining evening of food and drink at the fabulous School of Hospitality Management on the University of Denver campus. Meet the staff and several students who will be demonstrating their KidsTek projects and networking prowess. They will also have an energetic live auction by Gary Corbett - Colorado's best live auctioneer.
