In this role, Peter lead a global organization of more than 350 application support engineers.  At the end of 2010, Peter and his wife, Julie, decided to leave New York and return to Colorado (Denver this time). Peter spent 2011 doing interim-CIO/CTO consulting work in NYC and travelling to Denver to establish himself and his family here.  In early December of 2011, Peter joined IP Commerce as their VP of Operations, responsible for Support, Operations, Infrastructure and QA.

Bio: Mr. Urwiler joined Vail Resorts as CIO in August 2006 and is responsible for all aspects of technology enablement for the company including direct oversight of Vail’s digital media business, Mountain News Corp.   Urwiler is a 25-year veteran of corporate information technology management and most recently was Senior Vice President and Chief Information officer of Macromedia where he led all aspects of global IT including business application delivery, technology infrastructure management, web and eCommerce engineering and product hosting. In addition to IT, he was responsible for leading Macromedia's worldwide Customer Care organization. From 1999-2002, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Peregrine Systems.
