Career Immersions offers an introductory visit for small groups of high school students interested in a career in technology. Target partners are fun and exciting tech companies. Visits offer insight on the business, career pathway overviews from staff and a hands-on, experiential component. We work to identify, prepare and connect companies to school programs that organize the students. We are currently partnering with the Denver Public Schools and their 3 high schools with IT career pathways: Lincoln, West and Hi-Tech.

Students leave the experience with a grasp of what opportunities lie in their future and how to get there. The experiential activity gives students to opportunity to learn from technology professionals through small groups and ask questions.
Companies that support employee engagement through community volunteering find loyal and happy workers that experience a satisfaction knowing they are helping local students prepare for their careers. One proven method to interact with students is to host them on site at a company location. During the visit, students are introduced to what they company does, the industry they operate in and a few key occupations.
