Prior to joining our company in April 2010, Mr. Price was the head of technology for TD Ameritrade Trust Company, where he was responsible for the business unit’s post-acquisition integration, technology strategy and operational efficiency. Mr. Price has also held C-level positions at Fiserv Investment Support Services, Requisite Technology, Syngistix and Net Library. Mr. Price attended the University of California at San Diego’s Computer Science and Physics programs. Additionally, Mr. Price held top security clearance and was responsible for SWAT Team operations, Special Weapons, Fire Control Radars and Advanced Missile Systems during his distinguished career in the United States Navy. Mr. Price is a  veteran of the first Gulf War.

William Rankin, President & Chief Executive Officer, UQM Technologies
Mr. Rankin joined UQM Technologies, Inc. in February 1992 as Executive Vice President and was promoted to President in 1996 and CEO in 1999. He is responsible for overall company operations, including its wholly owned subsidiary, UQM Power Products (motors) located in Frederick, Colorado. Before joining UQM, Mr. Rankin was employed by Deere & Company for 16 years and was responsible for Computer Integrated Manufacturing worldwide for Deere's complete line of equipment and vehicle products. He established and was General Manager of a new business venture - Deere Tech Services - that served clients including Jaguar Motor Company, GM Buick, Oldsmobile, Cadillac Division, Motor Coach Industries and the Boeing Company. Prior to joining Deere & Company, Mr. Rankin served as chief of the Weapon System Simulation and Technology Division at the U.S. Army's Rock Island Arsenal, as a military operations research analyst developing combat simulation models at Booz Allen & Hamilton and as a 1st Lieutenant combat engineering officer in the U.S. Army, including with the 1st Cavalry Division in Vietnam where he was awarded a Bronze Star with first Oak Leaf Cluster.

Mr. Saeed is a graduate of the University of Denver Business School with a BSBA in Business Law.

Nidhi Saxena, CEO & President, DatamanUSA          
Nidhi, a certified PMP (Project management Professional) and certified Masters in Oracle Applications is a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering with more than 16 years of experience in IT industry. She started her career as a programmer analyst and was working as Senior Systems Analyst, when decided to start her own venture in 2000.  Nidhi founded DatamanUSA, llc from her home basement as a single person software solution provider. Today with her perseverance, persistence and patience, DatamanUSA, llc has grown multiple folds and has made a presence in the software industry.  Being a person who believes strongly in good values, Nidhi had been involved in lot of charitable acts, be it financially or time wise. Good education for all kids is the cause which is very close to her heart. She had been sponsoring school education for quite a few kids who were about to drop out of school due to financial reasons.

Peter Smith joined SDL in 1997 through the acquisition of Polylang, where he was Projects Director. He has over 15 years’ experience in the localization industry in roles covering project and program management, sales and operational management. After starting his career in Accountancy with organizations such as Ernst & Young, in 1990 he founded a document management company providing data storage and retrieval solutions. Kent Allison, Mountain Vista High School               
Kent Allison is in his 10th year of teaching Technology and Engineering at the high school level. Kent has spent the past 5 years building and improving the Technology program at Mountain Vista High School and just recently created the Engineering program at MVHS from scratch. He is the TSA adviser and Video/Film Coordinator for the Varsity football team. Kent is family man devoted to his wife, son and daughter.

 Stacey Fornstrom started teaching high school at TJ when the Computer Magnet Program opened here in 2000. Prior to that he was a consultant, helping businesses install new computer systems and customize them to fit their needs.

Donna Goodwin, Highlands Ranch High School                
After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Kenyon College in 1992, Donna began her career teaching skiing at Beaver Creek, Colorado. After teaching in both Colorado and Australia, she decided to return to the classroom. She received her Masters in Instructional Leadership from Colorado State University in 2002 in a specialized program called Project Promise. She began teaching high school in Kiowa, Colorado, where for two years she was responsible for 9th, 10th, and 11th grade English, as well as introducing a leadership class. In 2000 Donna began teaching at Highlands Ranch High School where she has taught many courses, including A.P. English Language and Composition, World Literature, Literature and Diversity, Elements of Writing, a class for at-risk seniors, Transitions Ninth Grade English (for at-risk freshmen), and regular ninth grade English. She has coached multiple sports, sponsored two clubs, and participated in many committees.

Lynette Havens, and Leslie Trexler, Bollman Technical Education Center
        
 Lynette Havens is no stranger to non-traditional career paths. She received an assistantship at CSU for following a non-trad course of study and received her BA degree in Industrial Sciences and Technology. She has taught Industrial Design Technology at Front Range Community College and Computer Aided Design at Aimes Community College where she was also the department chair for the Engineering and Electronics Program. Her MS degree in Industrial Science. She has. She has taught at Bollman Technical Education Center since 2001. Exemplifying the opportunities for women in technology, Leslie Trexler received her BS degree in Zoology also at CSU. She taught science, math and health at Westlake Middle School and then came to Bollman at the first sight of a computer and laser in 1991. She has been there ever since riding the technology wave with students and loving it. Her graduate work has been in instructional design.

Anna Holen, Overland Trail Middle School                  
Anna Holen received her M.A. in Interdisciplinary Education with a technology focus from Santa Clara University in 2002 and her Bachelor of Arts (Summa Cum Laude) in Psychology with a minor in Human Development from the University of California, Davis in 1998. Before her current appointment at Overland Trail Middle School, Anna was an Applied Technology/Computer Teacher at Nevin Platt Middle School, Boulder, CO (2007–09), a fourth-grade teacher at Sanborn Elementary, Longmont, CO (2003–07), a fifth-grade teacher at Southeast Elementary, Brighton, CO (2002–03) and Matsumoto Elementary, San Jose, CA (2000-02). She was also a Research Methods Instructor at ITT Technical Institute, Thornton, CO (2003-04). She has conducted extensive research on integrating technology into the classroom, culminating in a manual that included information on barriers that prevent teachers from using technology in education; research-driven lesson plans designed to assist teachers in using constructivist methods to integrate technology into the classroom; suggestions for technology integration in environments with both limited and unlimited access to technology; and information on optimal use of available technology. She has extensive experience in teaching with technology both inside and outside of the classroom. She worked with the Boulder Valley School District curriculum development team to revise middle school computer education curriculum for 21st century learning and Web 2.0 collaboration tools. She developed and led technology classes for staff members. She has served as a building technology contact and a member of school and district technology committees. She organized and published the first student-written school newspaper while she taught at Matsumoto Elementary School.

Alyson Katz, Louisville Middle School          
Alyson is a Computer Literacy Educator at Louisville Middle School, as well as a consultant in educational technology. She received a B.S in special education (learning and behavioral disorders) and elementary education with a minor in psychology from Buffalo State College and a Masters degree in Information and Learning Technologies -Instructional Design from the University of Colorado at Denver with education endorsements in Special Education (K-12) and Instructional Technology. She taught Special Education in Boston, Massachusetts and then temporarily left teaching for the business world in Florida where she became a database analyst and earned a certificate in accounting and computer science. She also worked for Miami Dade Courts in a range of roles from programmer to Director. But Alyson always wanted to combine her education and computer experience, so teaching technology provided the perfect venue for her.

Autumn Montgomery, Ralston Elementary School         
Autumn Montgomery has a strong philosophy around using technology in education and the collaborative aspect of the librarian working with teachers to help students learn. She has been teaching for 21 years. She began focusing on Library Information Specialist in 2000. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Metropolitan State College, Master of Arts-Curriculum and Instruction-Jeffco PACT program from University of Colorado-Denver, and Master in Library Media/Information Technology from University of Colorado-Denver. She is very involved with committees and organizations including the PTA, JCEA representative and board of director, CCIRA. Other professional experience and awards include "High Performing Power Library” in 2008, Inclusion of Special Needs Students – RTI, and Grant writing – Read to Achieve - $150,000. Autumn likes to keep busy with other activities including Pilot Programs in Science, Odyssey of the Mind, and Read To Achieve Tutor.

Jason Neely, Jeffco's 21st Century Virtual Academy   
Jason Neely is a Colorado native who has earned a BA from Western State College and a Masters of Education Instructional Technology from American InterContinental University. He has taught mathematics for over 10 years to Colorado high school students. Throughout his teaching career, Jason has always implemented numerous technology tools to improve the teaching in Colorado. In addition to teaching, Jason is the defensive football coach at Arvada West High school. He is a lacrosse official for high school, college and men’s lacrosse leagues. Last year he was elected president of the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Officials Association.

Sandra Rea, Aspen Creek K-8 School 
She received her B.A. in Computer Science with mathematics emphasis in 1997 from the University of Arkansas Fayetteville, with a 4.0 GPA in her major. She graduated in top ten of her class from the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences. From 2003 – 2008 she worked as a Mathematics Teacher at the Peak to Peak Charter School in Lafayette, CO, where she developed lesson plans and taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II and Proof Geometry to 6th through 12th grade students at a vigorous college preparatory school. She also advised groups of 7th, 9th and 10th grade students weekly in a program developed for meeting the students’ academic, social, psychological, developmental needs. From 2001-2003 she was a Mathematics Teacher and Mathematics Specialist at Liberty Common School Fort Collins, CO, where she developed lesson plans and taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Proof Geometry, and Advanced Algebra with Trigonometry to 7th, 8th and 9th graders. She oversaw the implementation of new conceptual mathematics curriculum, Singapore Math; analyzed CSAP scores and developed plans for improvement; directed the Kindergarten - 9th grade mathematics program; mentored and coached newer Math teachers specifically for Core Knowledge School and curriculum; organized mathematics training program for teachers with Dr. Richard Askey, University of Wisconsin, Madison; and oversaw the Student Council's Fundraising Committee. Palm Desert, CA from 1997–1999, where she designed, programmed, and tested medical applications using Borland C++ Builder; designed libraries and modules for live data use in mission critical situations; and tested software. And as a Web programmer/PC Technician for Desert Sands School District in La Quinta, CA, where she programmed and updated content for District Web sites; provided PC/Network support for 20 school sites; and trained staff in computer skills.

Peggy Veal is a French Teacher at ThunderRidge Highschool. She is a native French Speaker with an avid interest in 21st century skills and implement in the classroom.
