Denver - iQ for Business joins Neudesic Pulse ISV OEM program to provide enterprise social collaboration to customers

iQ for Business, a global provider of business intelligence systems for small and mid-sized companies, will begin offering Neudesic Pulse enterprise social collaboration capabilities as part of iQ’s BI systems under a new partnership announced today at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference.

Business intelligence (BI) systems and the data they portray often present a challenge due to the large amount of information and multiple sources that contribute to the data. Integrating the power of enterprise social collaboration software with BI systems enables professionals in various industries or scopes of work to accelerate data driven decision-making across their employee, partner and customer communities by asking questions, sharing findings and being alerted to take action on key metrics.

By embedding Neudesic Pulse enterprise social software into iQ’s BI systems, iQ customers will have access to all the rich social features of Neudesic Pulse, enabling workers to have a single point of reference to collaborate across departments, geographies and job descriptions to ensure their enterprises are successful.

Both Neudesic and iQ for Business have long and successful histories as Microsoft partners, and this new partnership will capitalize on their expertise to integrate with various Microsoft platforms such as Microsoft SharePoint, Dynamics CRM, Lync and Office. In addition, Neudesic Pulse allows for integration with any line of business application or system and – under the terms of the partnership – Neudesic Pulse customers looking for enterprise social combined with BI features can take advantage of new iQ for Business social features powered by Neudesic Pulse.

"Typically, business intelligence reports are created and shared via email or in a weekly meeting, but those forums don’t allow for ongoing collaboration or communication about the findings,” said iQ for Business president and chief operating officer Ray Major. "Meetings end without questions getting fully answered. Email threads become long, unfocused, irrelevant and, in some cases, ignored. By embedding Neudesic Pulse enterprise social collaboration software into our business intelligence systems, we help customers break down barriers to get the most out of their information and act on that insight.”

The new partnership also signifies continued momentum for the Neudesic Pulse ISV OEM program, which launched last month. The first-of-its-kind partner program enables more companies to share the benefits of Neudesic Pulse with their clients across an unlimited range of industries and software.

"An increasing number of ISVs see the value of making enterprise social a core part of their products in order to differentiate and expand their offerings,” said Ramin Vosough, vice president of Neudesic products. "For ISVs looking for deeper social integration capabilities, Neudesic’s ISV OEM offering goes beyond the traditional social application marketplace by allowing an ISV to ship enterprise social as part of their core branded product offering.”

Earlier this year, Neudesic launched Neudesic Pulse 3.0, which strengthened its integration with Microsoft SharePoint and Dynamics CRM. Neudesic Pulse supports direct upload to SharePoint so documents now are automatically stored in pre-defined SharePoint sites. Pulse also features system hubs that can collect information from enterprise applications and make them available within the community.
