Press Launches HD Entertainment News Using Neuron-ESB
Neudesic's
Neuron-ESB one of the critical components in largest global HD rollout by news
agency
IRVINE,
Calif., Jan. 9, 2012 -- Neudesic, the trusted technology partner
in business innovation and a Microsoft Gold Certified ISV, has announced a new
Neuron-ESB project completed by The Associated Press.
AP
launched its high definition (HD) Entertainment news service on November 11th.
This move to HD will give customers more choice in how they receive content,
both in the traditional broadcast market and on digital platforms.
As
part of a multimillion-dollar upgrade, the AP is transforming its video
business by switching its entire newsgathering, production and distribution
systems to HD. An essential part of this
transformation was the selection of key pieces of critical technologies needed
to deliver these new capabilities. The AP selected Neudesic's Neuron-ESB as its
Enterprise Service Bus.
Parsa
Rohani, CEO of Irvine, Calif.-headquartered Neudesic, said: "We are excited to play a role in the
successful implementation of AP's HD initiative."
"Neuron-ESB's
focus on agility allows it to fit very nicely into our development environment,
giving us the ability to release feature rich enhancements to HD Entertainment
quickly and easily," said Associated Press Director of Enterprise
Application Services Alan Wintroub.
"Its ease of use and roots in the .NET platform allow us to quickly
deliver business value by shortening our release cycles."
Neuron-ESB
acts as the Enterprise Service Bus within the HD Entertainment News solution
and facilitates:
·
Live breaking news delivery to customers
·

·

"Our
