May 3, 2011 - Legislative Update We Are In The Final Phase To Pass HB1293 HB1293, the bill to create clear, understandable language for software tax use in Colorado, is proceeding ahead, and now we need your help in this final phase as we go before the Senate Finance Committee (4/26/2011), on to the Senate Appropriations Committee (TBD), and the floor of the Senate.
This legislation could clear up what has become hundreds of hours of administrative questions for anyone who employs Colorado employees and who uses software, so it could make a significant difference for your company – and for anyone who uses software in the state.
Take Action! Senators Need To Hear That Tech Is Important In Colorado Contact your Senator (and any other Colorado Senator) and let them know you support HB1293 because healthy businesses create healthy communities. Let them know that businesses across every industry in our state use software, and it’s important that our elected officials know that HB1293 impacts thousands of businesses who then help hundreds of communities.
