Governor’s Energy Office and Startup Pavilion Give Rare Opportunity for Entrepreneurs

This Wednesday, the governor’s office will provide an opportunity for Colorado companies to showcase their innovations to GE Energy Advanced Technology Operations (ATO) group

DENVER – December 1, 2011 - The Governor’s Energy Office and Startup Pavilion invite Colorado companies to a panel discussion with GE Energy team and representatives of the governor’s office to help Startups and technology companies understand what the GE Energy team is involved in and what projects they are working on for the future.

The event will be this Wednesday, December 7th at 9200 E. Mineral Ave, Centennial, Colorado; from 5:00 - 9:00 PM

The program is also an opportunity to showcase Colorado companies and their potential to the GE Energy ATO panel.

The program will also include brief informative addresses from government and industry NGO representatives.  In addition to the GE Energy ATO panel, the event will also provide the following opportunities of interest to companies in the region:

·         Opportunity for entrepreneurs to display their products/services through booths in the exhibition area.

·         Ask questions of the GE Energy team.

·         Three companies will be chosen by an Innovation Pavilion panel to give a 5 minute presentation to the audience and panelists.  The focus of the presentations should be on:

1.       Smartgrid

2.       Wind

3.       Micronuclear

4.       Distribution

5.       Water

6.       Solar

7.       Other cleantech related areas

Companies interested in participating will need to:

·         Submit an application via registration link below.  The final submission date is Dec 2, 2011. 

·         The IP program team will review and select three companies for presentation on December 5th, 2011.  

·         The selected companies will be informed of their selection by December 5, 2011.
