Colorado Technology Association & CIOs highlight emerging trends in ‘Augmented Reality’ panel discussion at DEMOgala

One of the state’s largest technology business-to-business conferences and expos takes place on Friday, October 14, 2011 at the Sheraton Hotel in Denver, Colorado

Denver, CO – 9/27/11 – Futuristic technologies that provide interactive consumer experiences like in the sci-fi movie "The Minority Report” may be here sooner than you think. Augmented reality and other cutting-edge technologies, demonstrations and exhibits will be featured during the Colorado Technology Associations 7th Annual DEMOgala on October 14, 2011 at the Sheraton in Downtown Denver.

Executives of ViaWest, Latisys, Oracle, Avaya, Mapquest and dozens of other innovative firms located in Colorado will highlight the endless possibilities of emerging technologies and how they will interact with tomorrow’s consumer.

CIOs and CEOs of Vail Resorts, TAGWHAT and others will share their insights on augmented reality and how it will impact our future. The computer graphics being developed today and the technologies of tomorrow are becoming so sophisticated that the images they produce often seem surprisingly real, enhancing consumer experiences with relevant products and services.

"Colorado firms are leading the way in augmented technology,” said Su Hawk, Colorado Technology Associations President, "DEMOgala provides a tremendous opportunity for business leaders and IT professionals to gain insights into the latest technology developments so that they can help their companies be better positioned for tomorrow.”

Despite a challenging economy Colorado Technology Association continues to grow and now supports more than 5000 members which represent more than $4.5 Billion to the economy.
