Vancouver, WA (PRWEB) August 09, 2011
BridgeFront is now a preferred e-learning provider for CORHIO and the Colorado Regional Extension Center (CO-REC).
CO-REC guides Colorado health care providers through EHR implementation as part of the federal REC grant to assist providers in obtaining meaningful use incentives. During stage one of the program, practices were assessed for meaningful use readiness; the results showed many were not knowledgeable about current HIPAA regulations.
As a result, CORHIO partnered with BridgeFront to offer the Colorado healthcare community HIPAA compliance tools. BridgeFront is providing discounted pricing to the Colorado healthcare community for its HIPAA education and Policy and Procedure manuals; these are two requirements for HIPAA compliance. Providers that educate their staff with BridgeFront are also eligible for special pricing on all of BridgeFront’s online education.
"CORHIO understands that training is an important component of a successful EHR implementation," says Robyn Leone, Director of CO-REC. "After checking references and reviewing BridgeFront's content and delivery system; it was an easy choice to offer BridgeFront's e-learning to meet the educational needs of all Colorado healthcare providers."
Leone adds, "In addition to BridgeFront's library of mandatory compliance courses, a meaningful use e-learning tool is now in development. Combined, these resources will be a big help to our participants in achieving their goals."
BridgeFront's online education includes engaging audio and video, interactive review questions, a post-test, a "Certificate of Mastery," and extensive administrative monitoring features. All courses are available online at any time, with an internet-connected computer.
"CORHIO has been aggressively working with the Colorado provider community to help them advance through the first stage of meaningful use. BridgeFront is proud to be selected as CORHIO's educational partner," says Peter N. Cizik, the CEO of BridgeFront, "CORHIO feels it's an important part of their mission to provide simple and easy-to-use tools and resources. We look forward to simplifying staff education on a variety of topics for all Colorado healthcare providers.
