CSIA is pleased to announce the first five celebrities that will be participating on March 10, 2011 at the CSIA C-Level @ A Mile High event.  C-Level @ A Mile High is Colorado’s biggest technology networking event and is designed to stimulate relationships and business done between Colorado technology companies.  The event provides unparalleled access to and insight from more than 50 "Celebrity” C-Level technology executives in the Colorado business community.  More than 900 attendees are expected again this year.

"This prominent event recognizes the need to help Colorado tech companies grow deep relationships with technology executives, IT department leaders and other larger Colorado companies,” said Su Hawk, President, CSIA.  "Our continued success with this event validates what we have heard from the business community regarding their desire to do more business with technology companies based in Colorado.  To that end, C-Level at A Mile High offers the perfect forum to bring all the stakeholders together.”

Since the program’s inception in 2007, CSIA’s C-Level @ A Mile High event has stimulated hundreds of relationships and resulted in tens of millions of dollars of work between Colorado companies.  In fact, last year, there was more than $1 billion in budget for IT and technology projects directed by "Celebrities.”  Stay tuned as we count up this year’s available budget and announce more "Celebrities.”

The early list of "Celebrities” for 2011 includes:
  • Jim Gaulke, VP of IT, PDC Energy
  • Michael Marcotte, Global Chief Information Officer, EchoStar Corporation
  • Trent Ratcliff, CIO/Senior Manager of IT, Regional Transportation District (RTD)
  • Molly Rauzi, CIO, City and County of Denver
  • Glenn Russo, President, Zayo Networks
The proceeds from C-Level @ A Mile High help CSIA’s work on ensuring a healthy business environment including legislative and regulatory issues.
