DBJ Business Pulse: McInnis leads informal survey on Colorado governor's race

From The Denver Business Journal 2.26.10

Forty percent of Denver Business Journal readers who responded to our latest Business Pulse question said they favor Republican Scott McInnis for Colorado governor.

In our unscientific online opinion survey, Democrat John Hickenlooper and Republican Dan Maes split the remaining vote, at 26 percent each.

Hickenlooper, Denver's mayor, is unopposed for governor on the Democratic side. Former congressman McInnis is considered the GOP frontrunner, and Evergreen businessman Maes is also running on the Republican side.

There were 3,002 responses to our informal survey, which asked: "As of now, which candidate do you favor for Colorado governor?"

Your answers: • Scott McInnis — 40%. • John Hickenlooper — 26%. • Dan Maes — 26%. • None of the above/other — 3%.
