As you may know, CSIA has been working around the clock with our lobbyists to ensure Colorado remains a competitive and prosperous state for the software, hardware and IT services industry.  We would also like to thank all the members and the entire industry that have taken action and are contacting your elected officials.  Although the bill did pass in the House, and will now go to the Senate, your communications really did make a difference.  Look for additional information as this bill moves into the Senate on our legislative alert page>>

As another element of the work we do to strengthen the industry, CSIA provides key events, programs, and methods to increase industry business.  Our next major event is C-Level @ A Mile High and we are honored to announce an additional 22 "Celebrities” at this year’s event on March 11, 2010.  This event is just another way CSIA encourages business-to-business between Colorado companies.  By bringing the top CIOs, VPs of IT, and other C-Suite executives together with more than 800 technology professionals, we know relationships are built and business is done, which is important for our industry and all constituents involved.

The proceeds from this event will not only help CSIA’s work on ensuring a healthy business environment including legislative/regulatory issues, but will also help with our first-ever Industry Roadmap for the software, hardware, and IT services industry in Colorado to provide strategic direction for our state.
