Project Management Day in Denver: PMI Mile Hi’s 18th Annual Symposium on Leadership on April 29

Denver, CO--“The Project Management Road Trip” on accelerating leadership excellence, will be headlined by VIP speakers, including leadership coach Connie Podesta, marketing guru Clyde Fessler on the rebranding of Harley Davidson; and Rory Vaden, productivity expert and author of “Take the Stairs,” at the 18th Annual Rocky Mountain Project Management Symposium, from PMI Mile Hi, Friday, April 29, 2016, at the Colorado Convention Center, Denver.
Denver Mayor Michael Hancock has officially proclaimed Friday, April 29 as Project Management Day in Denver.
Back by popular demand are speakers Morag Barrett, CEO of SkyeTeam, on developing Ally relationships & steps to improving your leadership skills, and Ed Tate, on how to go from manager to leader.
More than 1,500 project leaders are registered for the event, which is the largest annual project management event of the Rocky Mountain West.
Workshops, breakouts and panel sessions will be presented throughout the day, based on topics including case studies of project management success stories, leadership, project management tools and project management technical skills, new educational requirements from the Project Management Institute, communications, and team building. Specific breakouts are offered for recent college grads interested in project management, emerging leaders and seasoned professionals.
Individuals participating are from the Rocky Mountain Region’s largest and most progressive companies in industries spanning information technology, healthcare, construction, aerospace, and communications. The full day event offers opportunities to make new friends and build professional networks, with a Continental breakfast, hot lunch buffet, networking breaks between sessions, and a social hour.
