DENVER – Markle Foundation, LinkedIn, Colorado Technology Association and numerous local partners celebrated the launch of Skillful today at Emily Grffith Technical College.

Skillful represents a fresh approach to providing actionable information to acquire in-demand skills. While people are seeking jobs they'll love, companies are seeking fresh talent. Companies are growing and changing rapidly due to technology and innovation, and careers are evolving to keep pace. This creates pressure in the system for a better way to inform career seekers of the latest skill needs. Skillful helps companies understand the value of and provides them resources to send clear, competency-based signals to the market for their talent needs.

CTA has worked with Markle Foundation and LinkedIn to develop and bring this platform to Colorado, along with assistance on competency reviews from State of Colorado OIT, FirstBank, Arrow Electronics, Istonish, Arcadis, CH2M and many other local partners. This was a collaborative effort to bring a first-of-its-kind platform to Colorado and help the technology community - companies and individuals - find their path to success while creating meaningful relationships with educators.

You're invited to scope out how Skillful can help your company address talent needs and also help you grow your career. Please don't hesitate to get in touch with CTA about this or any other workforce development questions by contacting Jennifer Armstrong.
