NewCloud Networks Appoints Laura Keon as Vice President of Channels

Keon brings more than 25 years of channel sales and business leadership experience to NewCloud and will scale indirect sales operations across the United States.

DENVER TECH CENTER, CO – August 20, 2015 – NewCloud Networks, a national provider of custom-architected managed cloud solutions, today announced it has appointed Laura Keon as vice president of nationwide channels. In this role, Keon will be responsible for redefining, growing, and managing all indirect sales channels including resellers, sales affiliates, and referral partners. NewCloud’s current cloud channel partner program features 2,000+ partners such as value added resellers (VARs), value added distributors (VADs), master agents, agents and brokers, systems integrators, managed services providers, online marketplaces, and professional IT services providers.


Keon joins NewCloud from Windstream Communications where she spent six years in channel roles of increasing responsibility, most recently as the senior director of indirect sales. In this capacity, she led as many as 800 independent distributor representatives across 52 sales agents spanning 38 states. Her responsibilities included strategy, program development, recruitment and training, and distributor sales performance evaluation. The distributor channel was responsible for more than one-third of Windstream’s annual revenue and her region increased from 3% to 112% annual growth under Keon’s direction.

Prior to Windstream, Laura Keon was a successful entrepreneur, growing Consulting Concepts and Management to more than $50M in annual revenue. Keon also brings sales and business management experience from Sprint, the City of Pittsburg, and GlobalCare. She is also a board member of The Convergence Project and continues her entrepreneurial activity as the head of Canyon Dust Hoses and Cattle. Keon received her J.D. in Law from William Howard Taft University and her B.S. in Molecular Biology /Business Management from the University of Texas at Dallas.
