DENVER STARTUP WEEK REGISTRATION NOW OPEN

DENVER (August 14, 2015) – Denver Startup Week, the largest free entrepreneurial event of its kind in North America, announced today that registration is open for the fourth annual event aimed at growing a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in Denver. Denver Startup Week will take place from Sept. 28 through Oct. 2, 2015 and will include more than 150 free community events with six concurrent programming tracks geared toward the entire entrepreneurial team, including founder, developer, growth, product, designer and maker.

More than 20,000 votes were cast to help identify the events that will occur at locations throughout Downtown Denver. Events include networking sessions, mentor hours, workshops and presentations spanning six programming tracks.

Back by popular demand: Basecamp, launched by Chase

Since 2013, Basecamp, launched by Chase, has been the entrepreneurial hub and epicenter for all Denver Startup Week attendees.  Basecamp will return this year at its same location in the heart of Downtown Denver at Arapahoe and 16th Street Mall, located at Ashford University’s Denver Online Center on the first floor of 1515 Arapahoe Street. Expect an exciting line-up of entrepreneurs and innovators to hit the Basecamp stage during Denver Startup Week, including Ryan Martens of Rally Software and Pledge 1% and Brad Feld of Techstars and The Foundry Group. Additional details about Basecamp activities will be released in the coming weeks.

Denver Startup Week is a platform to encourage the community to convene, collaborate and create, and is focused on:

·         Enhancing the sense of community amongst Denver entrepreneurs, with specific focus on Downtown Denver;

·         Highlighting Denver as an entrepreneurial center on the local, regional, and national stage; and

·         Providing education, inspiration, and networking events for the Denver entrepreneurial community.
