Colorado Technology Association welcomes Colorado’s largest company to board of directors 

Denver, CO (July 15, 2015) – The Colorado Technology Association (CTA) is pleased to announce the addition of Vincent Melvin, senior vice president and chief information officer at Arrow Electronics, to its board of directors. The 45-member board is comprised of executives and business leaders from across the technology industry from Colorado.

Melvin has responsibility for managing Arrow's global information technology systems, services and capabilities.

Prior to Arrow, Melvin was executive vice president and chief information officer of Sanmina-SCI, Inc. (SSCI), a leading electronics manufacturing services provider, where he successfully established a customer-focused organization that closely aligned IT initiatives and investment with the business strategy. Before joining SSCI in 2000, Melvin was director of information systems at Solectron Technology where he was responsible for all IT services and operations in the company's East region. Earlier, he held various positions of increasing responsibility at IBM Corporation in IT, logistics, and systems engineering during an 18-year career at the company.

Melvin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from Trinity College and a Master of Science degree in industrial administration from Carnegie Mellon University.
