The Commons on Champa, a New Public Campus for Entrepreneurship, Opens in Denver

One of the largest public-private partnerships of its kind in the U.S. formed to boost Denver’s economy and foster innovation and business development

WHAT:          Join the City and County of Denver, Downtown Denver Partnership and Colorado Technology Association for the grand opening of The Commons on Champa (The Commons), a new public campus designed to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in Denver.

WHO:             The City and County of Denver; Downtown Denver Partnership; Colorado Technology Association; Denver Mayor Michael B. Hancock; Comcast NBCUniversal; JP Morgan Chase; and nearly 40 additional partner organizations

11:30-12:30: Ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening press conference, featuring Mayor Hancock, Tami Door, President & CEO of Downtown Denver Partnership, Erik Mitisek, CEO of Colorado Technology Association, and more.

12:00: Lunch is available.

12:45-2:00: “Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Carving Your Own Path” panel, featuring Ryan Heckman, Quarterly Forum/Colorado Impact Fund; Taylor Maclemore, Patriot Boot; Annette Quintana, Istonish; Jenna Walker, Artifact Uprising; John Gowen, Liberty Global Ventures; and Michael Gellman, Spire Media.
