Denver, CO (November 18, 2014) – Technology is ever-changing, and that’s especially true when it comes to data centers with the increasing demands from cloud computing and big data. FORTRUST in Denver, Colorado announces the addition of 1.6 MW of data module capacity. Data Modules are a next-generation, software-defined modular data center infrastructure that has revolutionized the data center industry. To keep up with the increased demand for data modules, FORTRUST received a multi-module shipment on November 14th. B-roll footage of the delivery can be viewed here.

FORTRUST utilizes the fully integrated IO.Anywhere® Data Modules that deliver more flexibility, reliability, and energy efficiency, providing a sustainable and secure environment for legacy and cloud applications. The data modules allow companies to use only what they need and build on demand, saving energy and reducing cost.

The modules are custom engineered to accommodate high power densities and provide an increased level of security within the IT environment. Equipped with the IO.OS® data center operating system, customers are given increased visibility and insight into their environment through real-time data.

“Virtualization and dynamic IT loads in the data center are becoming more prevalent and the need for data center infrastructure that adapts seamlessly to the IT loads is paramount,” stated Rob McClary, Senior Vice President and General Manager of FORTRUST. “Data modules allow us to meet these customer requirements now and in the future.”

FORTRUST deploys modular capacity in all of their data center locations in Colorado, Arizona, and New Jersey.
