Launched as a bootstrapped operation in 2012, this Boulder based business has reached its stride. Ranging from brewery tours to whitewater rafting and mountain getaways, Wishlist offers over 250 experiences across Colorado. Wishlist also works with over 50 clients to provide unique employee reward programs that are tailored to each clients’ needs. The employer selects an array of experiences to offer and the recipient has the option to pick their activity of choice. Offers range from 1 - 4 people, allowing recipients to enjoy their gift with friends, coworkers, family, or by themselves.
Wishlist clients Full Contact, SolidFire, Slice of Lime, and Ship Compliant were all featured in Outside Magazine’s 2014 list of Top Companies to Work For. Denver Botanic Gardens, SendGrid, GNIP (now Twitter), RE/MAX, and Northwestern Mutual join these industry-leading businesses on Wishlist’s impressive and continuously growing client list. Jack Wodlinger, VP at MyRounding, shares his experience with Wishlist,
"This is spectacular. Culture is one of the most important aspects of our young start-up. Wishlist helps us create a system of rewards and gratitude. Our team members love the gifts and, even more importantly, they love the recognition."
Wishlist provides a streamlined approach to setting up a rewards program, with the ability to plug into a company’s existing HR systems. One of the many benefits to businesses using Wishlist is that it is a fully automated gifting solution. Companies can easily show appreciation to clients and employees in both digital and virtual form. Additionally, there is no breakage on gifts that are not used, as Wishlist clients are only charged once the recipient has selected their gift.
Activity vendors who partner with Wishlist receive marketing exposure and access to Wishlist customers. Dr. Randy Moyer of Moyer Total Wellness has benefited from his working relationship with Wishlist, stating,
“We have been a partner of Wishlist for over two years now. Wishlist consistently brings us 3-5 new clients every week. Wishlist brings us customers that are the right demographic and are not ‘deal shoppers'. I would recommend any small business use Wishlist as a way to gain exposure to new clients.”
Wishlist categories include: Urban Living $39 (Brewery Tours, Wine Tastings, Art Classes etc.) Adventure $99 (Whitewater Rafting, Horseback Riding, Snow Sports, etc.) Relaxation $119 (Massages, Facials, Acupuncture, etc.) Getaways $169 and $499 (Breckenridge, Estes Park, Keystone, etc.) Adrenaline $269 (Air Tours, Paragliding, Exotic Drives, etc.)
Wishlist makes it a priority to work with companies who share the like-minded belief that a successful business starts with happy employees. Wishlist will soon spread its Colorado wings and claim new territory in California. With the holidays right around the corner, we are hoping to spread the word about this one-of-a-kind gifting opportunity for both individual consumers and businesses.
