FORTRUST Announces PCI Compliance, Upholds Highest Payment Security Standards

FORTRUST completes Attestation of Compliance with Payment Card Industry Data Center Security Standard

Denver, CO (October 22, 2014) -- FORTRUST, the Rocky Mountain Region's most progressive data center and colocation services provider, completed its Attestation of Compliance (AOC) with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS) version 3.0. To maintain PCI compliance, companies must fulfill 12 specific requirements.

EKS&H LLLP (EKS&H), one of the largest CPA firms located in the Rocky Mountain Region and a leading Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) firm, performed the audit, recognizing FORTRUST’s adherence to the requirements of the PCI-DSS Report on Compliance (ROC).

The Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council created the PCI-DSS Report on Compliance (ROC) requirements to control and facilitate the international adoption of consistent data security measures in order to protect sensitive cardholder data. PCI-DSS applies to all entities handling cardholder data. A Qualified Security Assessor (QSA), under credentials issued to the firm by the PCI Security Standard Council, is certified to perform audits to determine PCI-DSS compliance.

According to the standard and the firm's credentials, EKS&H has issued FORTRUST an Attestation of Compliance (AOC) with the PCI-DSS Report on Compliance (ROC) for our physical security (requirement 9) and information security related policies and procedures (requirement 12). FORTRUST’s AOC is now available for customers per request.

“FORTRUST has always been focused on providing its customers with the highest level of data center services and support,” stated Rob McClary, FORTRUST’s Senior Vice President and General Manager, “We are happy to help them meet regulatory and IT Governance requirements.”
