STRIDE: Colorado’s New Health Tech Ecosystem

Denver INDUSTRY Denver Last night in front of 350+ attendees at The PrIME Health Collaborative’s Digital Health Challenge of Denver Start-up Week, Mayor Hancock announced the newest project from the INDUSTRY team: STRIDE. A national health technology ecosystem based in downtown Denver, Colorado.

STRIDE is set to become a catalytic public-private venture that will bring hundreds of jobs, amenities and housing to the community as well as activate the 38th & Blake Street Station of the new East Rail Line.

STRIDE will create synergies and cross-pollination amongst the health, wellness & technology community by fostering new momentum for growing businesses, enabling innovation for Fortune 500 health companies, and empowering the overall healthcare industry, both here in Colorado & nationwide.

The STRIDE health technology ecosystem will be the center node for Colorado’s PrIME Health Collaborative, a broad-based digital health, wearable tech, and wellness initiatives. Connecting the front range both north and south, Grand Junction, Durango, and beyond, this Denver node will spark and sustain collaborative efforts from around the state.

"We want to catalyze Colorado’s position as one of the top ecosystems in the nation for healthcare innovation. We want to provide the hardware infrastructure for the software programming of innovation leaders such as PrIME Health Collaborative and 10.10.10 Health.” – Mike Biselli

The STRIDE development will be the catalyst
for the Cole & RiNo neighborhoods, providing tenants with easy walkability, convenience of the new 38th Street light rail station, commuter bus, downtown bike trails, Car2Go, and other urban transportation tools. Our team has identified a site within downtown Denver to develop and create the collective office space, collaborative areas and restaurants.

"Our dreams are coming true AGAIN. The response we have received from our health, wellness and digital tech community has been amazing, and we can’t wait to begin the NEXT Step for healthcare innovation in Denver.” – Sean Campbell

Phase one of STRIDE will have as many as 400+ jobs under one roof. Both new and existing jobs will be part of the mix attracting companies from around Colorado and the U.S.. Open floor plans with community kitchens, lounges, conference rooms and strategic amenities will foster interaction and collaboration. The 45 foot ceilings allow for numerous mezzanines where tenants will have the opportunity to relax or get down to work in a space that will be entirely their own.

STRIDE will be THE center of innovation for digital health, wellness and wearable tech, both nationally & globally. The health technology ecosystem is the second project offered by INDUSTRY Denver team. Our team is focusing on phase one of the health technology ecosystem master plan. Pre-leasing begins FALL 2014.
