DENVER STARTUP WEEK REGISTRATION OPENS, ANNOUNCES BASECAMP LOCATION AND
BRINGS DAVE MCCLURE TO DENVER
August 6 | DENVER, CO – Denver Startup Week, the largest free entrepreneur event in North America, is gearing up for its third year of celebrating everything entrepreneurial in Denver September 15-20, 2014. Online registration opens today, including the Kickoff breakfast with renowned keynote speaker Dave McClure.
Announcing: Dave McClure, Startup Week Breakfast Keynote Speaker
The official kickoff celebration for the week will host famed keynote speaker, Dave McClure, founder of 500 Startups, an internet startup seed fund and incubator program and an investor in over 250 companies including Denver-based startup SendGrid. The kickoff breakfast will be held at the Seawell Ballroom, Monday, September 15, 2014 from 8:00-11:00am. Tickets are free and available on a first-come, first-served basis. More than 300 events were submitted to the Denver Startup Week organizing committee and then voted on by the Denver community. The community spoke and over 140 events were chosen to be held during Denver Startup Week, September 15-20, 2014. Registration opens today and thousands are expected to attend these events that occur throughout Downtown Denver and consist of networking sessions, mentor hours, workshops and presentations spanning four focus tracks: technology, business, design and manufacturing.

Back by popular demand: Basecamp, launched by Chase
Debuting at Denver Startup Week 2013, Basecamp launched by Chase quickly became the entrepreneurial hub and epicenter for all Denver Startup Week attendees. Denver Startup Week is proud to announce the return of Basecamp this year in the heart of Downtown Denver at Arapahoe and 16th Street Mall, located at Ashford University’s Denver Online Center on the first floor of 1515 Arapahoe Street. Boasting more than 2,000 visitors throughout the week in 2013, Basecamp attendees will be given access to a myriad of tools and resources including speakers and panelists, founders and entrepreneurs, one-on-one mentor sessions with local and national CEOs and developers, leadership spotlight sessions, live music, networking events and more in 2014.

Denver Startup Week 2014: Something for Everyone
Organized by Denver entrepreneurs, the Downtown Denver Partnership, and Colorado Technology Association, Denver Startup Week is a platform to encourage the community to convene, collaborate and create. Inspired by the innovation and activity already in Denver, Denver Startup Week is focused on three goals:
1. To enhance the sense of community amongst Denver entrepreneurs, with specific focus on Downtown Denver;
2. To highlight Denver as an entrepreneurial center on the local, regional, and national stage; and
3. To provide education, inspiration, and networking events for the Denver entrepreneurial community.
The week is designed to be part educational, part inspirational, part motivational, and part celebration. The core programming is centered on entrepreneurship and startups that focus in technology, design, social entrepreneurship, manufacturing and business. Events throughout the week are organized by both the Denver Startup Week Organizing Committee and the community at-large.
