APEX Awards to highlight Colorado technology industry accomplishments

Colorado Technology Association accepting nominations for company and individual awards through August 15th


Denver, CO (July 10, 2014) – Colorado’s technology industry is a vibrant part of our state’s economy. On November 5, 2014, the Colorado Technology Association (CTA) will host its 14th annual APEX Awards banquet at the Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center. This annual event recognizes the individuals and organizations that have contributed to the success of the state’s technology sector. In addition, the APEX Awards banquet also showcases the many accomplishment the industry as a whole and celebrate CTA’s 20th anniversary.

Colorado is known as a technology hub between the coasts, and has a growing number of companies, leaders, teachers, advocates, and teams that have made this state an industry leader. CTA aims to recognize those individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to furthering the industry in the past year through the APEX Awards.

Nine prestigious awards will be presented to companies and individuals that have made a positive impact in Colorado’s continually growing technology industry.  CTA is now accepting nominations for individual recognitions as CIO of the Year, Technology Teacher of the Year, Technology Entrepreneur of the Year, Technology Advocate of the Year, and Women in Tech of the Year. One individual will be recognized with the Bob Newman Lifetime Achievement Award, an award that distinguishes the outstanding achievements and contributions by an industry leader throughout their career.

Companies will be recognized through the Technology Project of the Year, Technology Company of the Year and Technology Startup Company of the Year Awards. View nomination guidelines here.

CTA will be hosting two nomination webinars to address questions, concerns and provide an overview of requirements for each award. Registration is required for webinars on July 10th or July 30th.

The deadline for nominations is Friday, August 15th. Please visit the nomination guide for award guidelines and to submit a nomination.
