AT&T CONTRIBUTES $50,000 to foothills united way

to support colorado flood relief efforts

Contribution Supports Flood Relief Efforts in Boulder and Broomfield Counties;

AT&T to Provide Assistance for Boulder County Residents at Longmont Disaster Assistance Center

BOULDER, Colo., September 26, 2013 —AT&T contributed $50,000 to the Foothills United Way to support disaster relief efforts for the Colorado Floods. The funds will benefit those affected by the flooding in Boulder and Broomfield counties during recovery efforts. AT&T representatives will also be available at the Longmont Disaster Assistance Center at 1250 South Hover in Twin Peaks Mall on from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm, Thursday and Friday, Sept. 26-27 for Boulder County residents needing help with wireless phones.

Doug Yeiser, President and CEO of Foothills United Way, stated, "Foothills United Way is tremendously grateful for AT&T’s support as we help our communities recover from this unprecedented disaster. While we anticipate months, perhaps years, to fully recover, it is with corporate partners like AT&T, that Foothills United Way will continue to work to keep the fabric of our community strong. This is a sterling example of corporate citizenship.”

"As Colorado comes together, we are thankful to Foothills United Way for providing needed assistance and support to residents who have been displaced or lost their homes.”

The Foothills Flood Relief Fund has been established in response to the impact of the severe flooding across Boulder and Broomfield counties. In cooperation with other community partners, the funds raised through this effort are being used for health and human services for those affected by the flooding in Boulder and Broomfield counties.

One hundred percent of the Foothills Flood Relief Fund will support flood relief and recovery efforts.All administrative costs are being underwritten by a corporate partner. To donate visit

The Longmont Disaster Assistance Center is available to anyone impacted by the flood. AT&T will supply a charging area, cell phone assistance and over 20 activated devices for consumers needing to make calls or communicate with loved ones, insurance companies, contractors or others while they are at the Center. Representatives will be on site from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm on Thursday and Friday, Sept, 26-27.
