Colorado's technology and engineering industries are growing such that our ability to develop a workforce is not keeping up with demand in the marketplace.  It's critical that we focus on building a pipeline of qualified workers to support the ongoing success of Colorado's STEM fields.
At the same time, though, we know that you're short on time.  You need workforce engagement opportunities that are easy to participate in, are relevant to your line of work, and have a high impact.  That's why we're hosting our first ever STEM Talent Development Breakfast.  Hear from Colorado Technology Association President and CEO Andrea Young and City and County of Denver Chief Information Officer Scott Cardenas about why workforce development is crucial for the economic development of Denver. Then engage in a fast-paced round-robin session where you'll meet with Denver Public Schools CareerConnect staff and find out what programs will make the most sense for your line of work.
