The Technology Employment in Colorado Partnership (TEC-P) is a regional program dedicated to connecting
Colorado’s hidden tech talent with rewarding careers. There will be 6 orientation sessions in June that will provide information on the followingclass offerings:

  • IT Security Specialist
  • Security - Medical Records Specialist
  • Ethical Hacking and Counter Terrorism Specialist
  • Junior Developer

These orientation sessions will be held on the following dates & times:

  • Wednesday, June 8, 2016     Session 1: 10:00 am to 12:30 pm       Session 2: 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
  • Thursday, June 9, 2016       Session 1: 10:00 am to 12:30 pm        Session 2: 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
  • Monday, June 13, 2016        Session 1: 10:00 am to 12:30 pm        Session 2: 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm

You will be requested to select one of the above orientation dates when you hit the "Registration" button!

How it works
If you are accepted to the program, you will receive the
following:

  • Technical Training
  • Professional Development
  • Career Management
  • Financial Literacy

Interview and Assessment

You will meet with TEC-P and Tuliva staff and then take an assessment to determine whether a career in IT is a good fit.

 

Career Training and Certification

You will be assessed and enrolled in a training based on your skills, knowledge and interest (varies from 6-20 weeks). Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive certifications to demonstrate your skills to potential employers.

 

Job Placement

Utilizing a team approach, Tuliva and TEC-P will assist individuals who have successfully completed training to network and find opportunities within your field of study.

 

Registration - You Must Register to Attend One of the Six Orientation Sessions!

In addition to getting a ticket to one of the orientation sessions, individuals must register on Connecting Colorado (https://www.connectingcolorado.com) and upload/provide a current resume.

Session dates & times:   June 8th: 10am or 1pm, June 9th: 10am or 1pm, June 13th:  10am or 6pm.  See register tab at the top for details.
