Please join us for the Microsoft YouthSpark Connections breakfast on April 9 from 8 until 10:30 am at the Microsoft Office in Denver, CO.

7595 Technology Way, Suite 400
Room: Maroon Bells

The event audience will be comprised of top influencers in Education and Public Policy from the State of Colorado.

America is at a crossroads; while there are more young people than ever before, according to research by the Brookings Institution, many of them are struggling to find work amongst our labor force. Simultaneously, many open positions remain unoccupied as employers are unable to locate workers with the required skill-set. Many of these unfilled jobs are in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) – the industries that propel innovation, competition and economic growth.

What are we doing to address this skills gap and prepare our students to enter and excel in these competitive industries? Microsoft, in collaboration with the Brookings Institution, is exploring this urgent condition in an exclusive complimentary event series called Microsoft YouthSpark Connections. Join us as we examine the most current research on youth, education, and the opportunities to better meet the requirements of the labor market through education.
