The User Experience

Government in Tech Forum

October 28, 2014

The field of User Experience (UX) is developing as a mainstream approach to customer relationships and business models. Slice of Lime is an innovative Colorado UX Design agency focused on web apps, mobile apps, and connected devices. They represent the leading edge in this new field. We are pleased to have them as speakers for this session.

User Experience can be seen as the sum of all experiences a customer has with a supplier of services over the duration of their relationship. User Experience can also focus on an individual experience over a single transaction at a singular moment.

The concept of fully designed user experiences is taking hold in both the private and public business sectors. Slice of Lime will share their concepts, experiences, and viewpoints around forming User Experiences and the importance of managing the those experiences

Speakers

Kevin Menzie
CEO of Slice of Lime

I love illustration, writing music, and mountain biking. I believe everyone is creative. I aim to realize this through my company, Slice of Lime, and fun things I do on the side.

I started Slice of Lime, a UX Design agency, in 2001. For over 13 years, I've put my heart into the company. I couldn't be more proud of our people and what we've all created together. Slice of Lime has consistently been listed as one of the fastest growing companies in the area and lately has been recognized in larger publications such as CNN Money, Inc., and UX Magazine.

Mike Taylor,

The Business Developer, Slice of Lime
We are a 13 year-old
user experience design agency whose specialty is creating amazing experiences.  Our work entails connecting with folks by listening well, telling a good story, and building trust and understanding. We all rally behind the mantra "Create Amazing Experiences".

I find our projects are challenging, complex, and interesting. I consider myself part of the lucky minority who do work they enjoy with people they enjoy doing it with. I've been in the web design and development space for the last nine years.

About the Topic
Customer experience is not what you think it is — it's your customers' perception of their interactions with your company. You need your customers more than they need you. To succeed, you must get serious about the way you define, implement, and manage the customer experience.

In this session, you'll connect with Forrester leaders and other industry leaders to discuss your customer experience strategy and:

  • Get tips on how to avoid the most frequent (and costly) customer experience mistakes.
  • Learn how your customers and employees have more control over your brand than ever before.
  • Learn the basics of an effective customer experience strategy and hear proof on how delivering customer experience is a must for your 2014 priorities
