The “SIM Tank” fundraising event based on the concept of Shark Tank, the popular ABC TV show where entrepreneurs have the opportunity to pitch their ideas to potential investors. At the “SIM Tank” event, four startup companies from the Denver area were selected to pitch their ideas to local venture capital investors in order to receive feedback and advice.

(Denver) In a flagship strategic collaboration between the Colorado Chapter of The Society for Information Management (SIM), Colorado Technology Association (CTA), Galvanize and a number of key partnerships, will be delivering the 2nd Annual SIM Tank on August 19th at 5pm and will be held at Galvanize in Denver.  SIM Tank is an engaging networking event that connects some of Colorado’s best startup companies, Investors and Enterprise Corporations.  SIM Tank, an event based on the hit TV show “Shark Tank”, brings the top investors in the state of Colorado in one room to listen top technology startup companies in Colorado and all in front of a live SIM audience of around 200 technology leaders and experts from Denver’s prominent companies.  The focus of the event is to promote STEM in Colorado and specifically Colorado KidsTek which will receive a donation from SIM Tank fundraising efforts.  You can register for the event at www.sim-colorado.org/index.php/events
