Mark Carlson,Outreach Operations Manager,CORHIO
BIO: Mark Carlson is the Outreach Operations Manager at CORHIO where he educates and assists health care professionals with health information exchange (HIE). Mark’s primary role is to help physicians and practice managers understand how national and local trends, such as payment reform and ACOs, federal EHR ‘Meaningful Use’ incentive payments and clinical quality improvement are associated with health IT and HIE. With more than 12 years of experience in health information technology, Mark has lead teams focused on developing strategic initiatives using technology to improve care delivery. Mark has a master’s degree in business management from the University of Colorado. CORHIO has been a great opportunity to make an impact for the state I live and love while making a positive change for those that make it their life’s work to provide care to all Coloradoan’s. When not working he enjoys skiing with my 7 and 9 year old boys, coaching their teams and just being a dad.
