Bios of Presenters:
Christian Teeft, Latisys, Vice President of Engineering
his 16 year career, Christian has established himself as an accomplished and
forward-thinking data center engineering and product development
professional. His considerable experience managing large teams and
driving the development strategy for a wide range of innovative data center
solutions brought him to Latisys in September of 2010, as the Vice President of
Engineering. In this role, Teeft is responsible for building out the
firm’s next generation managed hosting and cloud services platform, as well as
delivering innovative, scalable IT Outsourcing solutions to enterprise
For the nine years prior to joining
Latisys, Teeft served in various capacities at NTT America, most recently as VP
of Product Development, Engineering and OSS. In that role, Teeft served as a
core member of the management team responsible for setting the company’s
strategic technology direction, and led multiple engineering teams responsible
for Platform, Storage, Network, OSS, Custom Engineering, and DB practice. In
addition, his organization was responsible for R&D of new products and
services, managing and maintaining the hosting infrastructure for several data
centers, and custom solution support.

With more than 28 years of industry
experience in global enterprise level computer information systems and
telecommunications, Kerry has specific technical experience in high capacity
transaction processing systems, distributed architectures, data and telephony
networking, and large scale enterprise infrastructure design.
With past experience as a programmer,
solution architect, systems consultant, and enterprise systems administrator,
Kerry brings a pragmatic perspective to technology as part of an overall business
solution including business analysis, infrastructure design, data networking, systems
hardware, software, operations, consulting and services.
Kerry has designed and implemented systems, networking and
storage solutions to enable applications for many corporate and enterprise
accounts including Qwest Communications, FedEx, Sprint, DIRECTV, DHL, Dish
Network, Verizon, The U. S. Bureau of Reclamation, Department of Energy and
Prior to joining HP in 1999, Kerry’s experience includes
systems administration for Qwest Communications, Tele-Communications, Inc. (now
