We invite you to participate in our next CIO Peer-to-Peer Forum to join a discussion on the pros and cons of who the CIO reports to in an organization.  A recent CIO Magazine article entitled "Is it So Bad for the CIO to Report to the CFO?" covered this interesting topic:

We are honored to announce that Mike Jones, CEO of Arrow Holdings and former CIO of Level 3, will lead the discussion.  Mike has held a variety of roles and is uniquely qualified to kickoff and manage this discussion.

We are pleased to announce that due to the success of the CIO Peer-to-Peer Forum, we are launching a new CFO-in-Tech Peer-to-Peer Forum in July.  To help launch this new group, we invite CIO's attending this CIO Forum to bring their CFO as a guest (FREE) in order for the CFO to get a first-hand experience in how CTA Peer-to-Peer groups work.

Mike Jones, CEO, Arrow Holdings
Mike has been the technology leader for some of the country’s most innovative and dynamic companies. Most recently, Mike was CEO of datAvail and will continue his position as Chairman of the Board. Prior to datAvail, Mike was the CEO of (i)Structure, now a Wipro company that offers a full range of IT outsourcing services to customers around the globe. Prior to his CEO roles, Mike was CIO for Level 3 Communications – a company supplying Fortune 1000 companies with sophisticated, fiber-based IP communication services. His organization was responsible for the worldwide operations of all of Level 3’s information and network management systems, including Corporate and Network Security. Before joining Level 3, Mike was Vice President and CIO for Corporate Express. As part of the executive team, he helped the company go public and successfully complete more than 100 mergers and acquisitions. Mike helped transform Corporate Express from a private, regional office products company, with revenues of less than $300 million, to a $4 billion global corporation, providing essential business products and services to large organizations. Mike started his IT career at Andersen Consulting where he spent 12 years working his way to Associate Partner in Andersen Consulting’s Advanced Technology Group. Mike is a graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in accounting, with a minor in computer science, and completed his CPA examination in 1984. He is an active leader in the IT community, serving on several Boards of Directors for emerging technology companies. Mike, his wife and two children live in the Boulder area and he likes to golf, ski and fish.
