CIO Forum Roundtable: Converged Mobile Devices – Monitoring, Management and Security

Facilitated by: Tom Sheraden, Chief Technology Officer, ProLogis

The use of converged mobile devices, which combine communication and productive computing capabilities, is growing exponentially and thus, so are the related risks.  According to Forrester Consulting, more than half of financial services enterprises are already supporting personally-owned mobile devices for their consumers.  With mobile technology leading the way for the consumer markets, it’s not unreasonable for more and more employees to demand to use their mobile devices for their professional needs as well.  The enterprise vulnerabilities and management challenges associated with these mobile devices are different for each business and industry.  Businesses are forced to examine their existing mobile policies and IT operations, and make security and regulatory compliance a priority.

Join your peers of leading Colorado CIOs and VPs of IT for a roundtable discussion of how they have responded to the high demand of mobile devices for employees.  Join to discuss best practices, challenges and get ideas on the innovative solutions being put into practice.
