Dennis Buelow, Partner, Clifton Gunderson
Mr. Buelow is a partner in the Rocky Mountain Client Service Center of Clifton Gunderson, LLP, a national full service public accounting and consulting firm. As the leader of the Entrepreneurial Business Service practice for the Rocky Mountain Client Service Center, his focus is working with entrepreneurs on strategic business, accounting and tax consulting matters.
With over 13 years experience, Dennis specializes in providing accounting, tax planning and compliance to software, hi-tech, construction and real estate entities, professional service companies including architects and engineering firms, and radio broadcasting entities. His experience also includes proactive tax planning advice to maximize tax savings, succession and retirement planning, and transaction planning to optimize entity structures. Dennis assists new business startups with entity formation, accounting system selection, and other strategic business planning matters.
He currently serves on the board of directors and executive\finance committee of Griffith Centers for Children, a Colorado non-profit organization whose mission is to provide troubled children the environment and opportunities to become healthy, participating and productive members of society. Dennis also serves on the Board of the Denver Active 20\30 Children’s Foundation, a fundraising organization that gives grants to Colorado non-profits that serve disadvantaged youth in Colorado, as the Charity Review\Grant Chairman. Dennis was currently recognized for his philanthropic activities by the Colorado Society of CPAs as one of its "Everyday Heroes”.
Dennis is currently active in the Clifton Gunderson Leadership Academy, a select group of seven Clifton Gunderson professionals that are focused on developing their leadership skills by interacting with internal "C” level executives. He also participated in a 12 month leadership program with the South Metro Chamber of Commerce.
Dennis is a graduate of Colorado State University with a bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis on accounting. He is a member of the Colorado Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
He lives in Highlands Ranch with his wife Erin, a Colorado native, and their beautiful daughter Cora and handsome son Bryant. Dennis enjoys the beautiful Colorado outdoors by climbing Colorado’s Fourteeners and camping.
Devin Simon, Tax Manager, Clifton Gunderson
Devin Simon is a tax manager in the Rocky Mountain Client Service Center and has worked on and supervised a variety of tax consulting and compliance services for privately-held and publicly traded large and mid-sized businesses. Devin works with clients in variety of industries including software, high-tech manufacturing, biotech, oil & gas, electronic transaction, and professional services. He specializes in tax consulting solutions including: Research & Development Studies, Fixed Asset Depreciation/Cost Segregation Studies, and State & Local Tax Services.
Devin is a member of the Colorado Technology Association (CSIA), Denver-Boulder Software Club and the Colorado Association of Commerce & Industry.
He graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder with his Bachelors degree in accounting and earned his MBA from the University of Colorado, Denver.
