Ida Lau, COO and Co-Founder, VeriPoint
Ida is co-founder and COO of VeriPoint a provider of real-time analytics and alerts enabling companies to compare, trend, and anticipate as events happen. The solution is uniquely designed to handle incredible volumes of real-time data streams from sensors (GPS, RFID, web, etc.) to private data stores. Strategic partners private label VeriPoint’s platform to deliver robust, actionable, and easy to use analytics to companies and municipalities around the nation. Ida is also actively engaged in promoting Colorado’s dynamic technology community as co-founder and co-host of IfThenRadio.com. Prior to VeriPoint, she played a critical role in executing key strategic initiatives at Countrywide Home Loans in the late 1990’s. Her team launched five de novo units in the settlement services area and ultimately she took on the presidency of one of these units, growing it 100 fold in less than a year.
John Meyer, Pure Brand Communications
With more than 20 years of experience as a marketing and business development executive, John has a distinguished track record creating successful marketing and branding strategies. Most notably, John spent more than a decade as an executive for Microsoft Corporation. Prior to joining Pure, John served as vice president of marketing and business development at Wellness Business Systems. John has served on the board of the Food Bank of the Rockies, the board of Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Denver and currently volunteers with the Colorado Technology Association. John is a graduate of Colorado State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing.
U.B. Ciminieri, Account Manager, Business Controls, Inc.
U.B. currently works for Business Controls, Inc., the world's leading risk mitigation firm and anonymous reporting solution provider. He is also co-founder of IfThenRadio.com, a podcast highlighting technology in business, and co-founder of the IfThenNetwork, an internet media production company. Previous to Business Controls, he has worked in a variety of sales, marketing and management roles for companies in the retail, entertainment and technology industries. As an active supporter of the Colorado technology community, he has held a variety of co-chair positions for CSIA with a focus on marketing and social media; has been an active member of CSIA’s Steering Committees; and is a recipient of the 2009 Champion of the Year Apex Award. He also serves as the Event Liaison between the CSIA Education Committee and all of CSIA's major annual events, including C-Level @ A Mile High, Apex Awards and DEMOGala.
