A self-described marketing and technology junkie, Charles Var has spent more than 15 years managing marketing and public relations for some of the industry’s most recognized and respected technology brands, including Intuit’s Quicken and QuickBooks, Hewlett Packard, Symantec and video-game maker Sega. In his current role at McAfee, Charles is responsible for building awareness and affinity for McAfee’s portfolio of software-as-a-service security solutions for businesses. Heather Sharp has served in management roles within the transportation, marketing and communications industries for more than 10 years. Heather was recently promoted from senior manager, marketing communications, to director of marketing at onTargetjobs. OnTargetjobs is the parent company of HEALTHeCAREERS Network, BioSpace, RegionalHelpWanted and Hcareers, the leading employment Web sites that provide online career services to healthcare, bioscience, regional and hospitality markets.
