Market Creation Group Acquires Circa 65 to Extend Leadership in Business-to-Business Marketing

Posted By Elise Milam, Market Creation Group, Tuesday, June 26, 2012
Market Creation Group is incredibly excited to share with you the news that we've shared with the world today, that we are purchasing a long-time partner to Market Creation Group, Circa 65.

The purchase of Circa 65 will help round out MCG's full-suite of services to our shared technology clients.  In particular, it delivers three NEW capabilities that we can bring to market:

1) Channel Expertise - Circa 65 comes out of the world of Arrow Electronics.  Clearly, they know how to manage marketing within an indirect channel!  In fact, Jim Markisohn, the Managing Partner of Circa 65 was a long-time VP of Marketing and Business Development at Arrow.  Circa 65 has been working with Resellers, VARs, affiliate channels and vendors who leverage indirect channels for a long time now.

2) MarketStorm - Circa 65 has created an innovative process of creating a marketing strategy, a go-to-market roadmap and a series of tactical execution recommendations, all wrapped up in a single program with a process for measuring results.  This comprehensive program will weave into our already successful brand foundation program offered by MCG to deliver an incredibly thorough plan for launching products, relaunching companies, targeting new markets and relooking at marketing programs overall.

3) Dedicated Marketing Expert (DME) - is a subscription-based program that provides senior, director-level leadership of all marketing programs.

These three great additions to MCG will blend nicely with our three areas of expertise (Strategy, Demand Generation and Creative Services) to create a powerhouse of marketing excellence that will truly help our clients accelerate sales. Grow MCG!

AMA ReadyTalk webcast

In case you didn't get the memo, the recession is over and companies are investing in marketing again. Now that you have that bright, shiny new budget for 2012, how do you assess what marketing strategies and tactics will best benefit your business? Our CEO and Founder, Brett Schklar, teamed up with Readytalk and the American Marketing Association (AMA) to help answer this question.

Throughout the webinar, Brett helped drive marketers through the five phases of B2B marketing to show how they map to the sales cycle. He guided listeners through new ways to approach marketing by focusing on the weaker areas of marketing's contribution towards building a stronger sales pipeline. Just in case you missed the webinar last Friday, February 3, 2012 -  we've compiled everything you need to relive it! For your convenience and reading pleasure, you can:

Thanks to everyone who attended, participated, asked questions and tweeted feedback! The webinar was a huge success and MCG is glad you found it useful.

Updated: Wednesday, January 11, 2012
ArcMail Technology - a leading provider of archiving technologies and compliance solutions for enterprise companies and regulated industries - is excited to announce the launch of its "Get It Faster” contest series! Throughout the year, the company will showcase new and different themes for the contest - often holiday inspired - to help engage fans and thank them for following ArcMail.

What’s the point? Archiving products from ArcMail make searching company information archives fast and easy, so ArcMail's making it fast and easy for its fans to find the prizes they’re looking for too. According to Linda Hartman, Vice President of Marketing at ArcMail, "The contests allow us to interact with our followers in new and innovative ways while reinforcing ArcMail’s brand message at the same time.”

To enter, fans must login to Twitter through ArcMail’s contest page, follow ArcMail on Twitter and explain in a 140-character tweet how their prize (up to $50 in value) relates to the theme for that month. The most creative entries win and each month’s winner will be announced here on ArcMail's blog and Twitter page.

This month, ArcMail's kicking off the contest with a New Year’s resolution theme for January. Followers are prompted to tweet a prize of their choice and explain how their prize will help achieve their New Year’s resolution for 2012. This contest ends January 31st, so go get your tweet on and enter! The winner will be announced on February 1st. Don’t forget to subscribe to this blog to receive updates on each winner and notification of new contest themes for upcoming months.
