CNBC ranked Colorado fifth in "America's Top States for Business" in 2011. The state ranked especially high for business friendliness, economy, and access to capital. In addition, Forbes ranked Colorado first for labor prospects and fifth overall in its 2011 "Best States for Business" report.
In 2011, the Colorado Technology Association announced new branding aimed at more clearly defining who our community is and was a perfect evolution from our roots as the Colorado Software Association.
In 2012, great strides have been made to spread the word about CTA and it's community including trips to California, participation in a national roving technology summit as their keynote speaker, to becoming an alliance to the National Center for Women in Technology (NCWIT). The results are showing as our registered members continues to grow.
