At Macromedia, Robert led all aspects of global IT including business application delivery, technology infrastructure management, web and eCommerce engineering, and product hosting.
In addition to IT, he was also responsible for leading Macromedia’s worldwide Customer
Care organization, and was Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Peregrine Systems in San Diego.
Prior to Peregrine, Robert served in IT leadership roles at Scientific-Atlanta and Sprint, and was a management consultant at Price Waterhouse.
Robert holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems from Nova Southeastern University.
ViaWestRoy Dimoff, Co-founder, Chairman and CEORoy launched his first telecommunications company in Toronto, Canada at age 26, Dimoff continues to drive ViaWest’s success through strategic positioning, strong financial management, and instinctive merger and acquisition selection.
In 1988, he sold his company to Confertech International of Denver, Colorado (now Global Crossing), where he also accepted an executive management position in the services division. In less than five years, Dimoff had established Confertech as the second largest provider of audio and video teleconferencing services in the United States .
In 1995, Dimoff assumed control of RMI.net where he quickly established RMI.net as the leading Internet Service Provider in Colorado and effectively completed one of the first Internet
IPOs.
Awards include the Denver Business Journal’s "Who’s Who in Technology, Telcom and Media,”and a finalist for the 2005 Ernst & Young, "Entrepreneur of the Year Award” and also for the 2005 "Technology Executive of the Year” presented by the CSIA.
Dimoff is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, where he earned his Honors Bachelor of Business Administration Degree.
ViaWestNancy Phillips, COO and Co-founderNancy is a recognized business and telecommunications leader with over 15 years of management experience in voice and data communications. Nancy has been a principal and executive at numerous successful telecommunications companies and a consultant to international companies such as France Telecom, MCI and Qwest.
Prior to ViaWest, Phillips was Vice President of Operations for RMI.net, where she played an integral role in managing the company’s network and technical growth. Previously, she was Vice President of Operations for ITC Worldwide, now Genesys Conferencing, and Senior Vice President of Operations for ConferTech International’s conferencing business, now owned by Global Crossing.
Nancy was the 2004 winner of CSIA’s Technology Business Woman of the Year Apex Award.
Phillips holds an Honors Bachelor of Economics from Queens University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. In 1999, Dimoff and the other founders officially launched ViaWest Internet Services, Inc. into the market as a provider of colocation and hosted solutions.

Jon received an MBA from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota and a bachelor of arts degree in business administration with a minor in Computer Science from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn. He passed the CPA exam in 1985.
In his free time, he is an avid aviator, holding a commercial pilot/instrument rating for single and multi engine airplanes.
